Current Focus
We welcome your child to our kindergarten class!! We will be working with your child throughout the year on these Bible skills to help him or her to:
- know that the two main parts of the Bible are the Old and New Testament
- begin to pronounce the names of the books of the Bible
- repeat and remember simple Bible verses
- remember and tell a familiar Bible story
- understand that the Bible tells about God and Jesus
- remember the names of familiar people in the Bible
- apply Bible verses to his or her life
- know that people wrote God's words in the Bible
- know that each main part of the Bible is divided into smaller parts called books
